长材的生产越来越向公差更小、成材率更高、材质和尺寸变换更频繁的方向发展。在轧制过程中随时了解轧件的几何尺寸是否偏离目标值十分重要。采用影像测量系统是测量圆形加工件的最好方案。但该系统测量小方坯或结构型钢的外形时只能测量到很少的数据,得不到轧材完整的外形情况。为了克服上述缺点,LAP公司开发出新型外形检测系统(ProfileCheck system),可以在线测量轧件的整个截面和纵向数据。
Long products are increasingly being manufactured to smaller tolerances, higher yields, and more frequent material and dimensional changes. It is important to keep track of whether the workpiece geometry deviates from the target during the rolling process. The use of image measurement system is the best measure of circular processing parts. However, when measuring the shape of a billet or structural steel, the system can only measure very little data and can not obtain the complete shape of the rolled stock. To overcome these shortcomings, LAP has developed a new ProfileCheck system that allows online measurement of the entire cross-section and longitudinal data of the rolling stock.
