有人认为《后窗》是希区柯克式的恐怖悬疑类型电影的代表,对于这一点,恕我不敢苟同;影片不外乎讲故事,情节再跌宕精彩也无非只是故事,观众被打动往往不是因为故事本身,而是发现故事讲的不是别人,而正是自己。假设抛开该片中的“谋杀案”这一情节,观众会看到什么呢?对,一个个普通得不能再普通的生活小场景,即便是四五十年代的背景,但即便是今天,它们也相差无几地发生在观众的生活中,观众也并不会觉得它们的出现有何异常或不妥。而对贯穿影片始终的“谋杀案”这一情节描述,也没有任何暴力血腥的场面,一切都发生得如此平静,自然。因此,与其说这部影片本身饱含了多么扣人心弦的惊悚元素,倒不如说是人的内心有太多杂念,因而太过敏感和恐惧。
