史学自由的根据是思想自由,新闻自由的根据是言论自由,而思想自由和言论自由的共同基础则是政治自由。政治自由只能由民主政体来保障。只有民主政体才能确切保障思想自由(史学自由)和言论自由(新闻自由)的共同实现。一种有价值的历史观必须对自由问题高度重视。
The basis of historical freedom is freedom of thought. The basis of press freedom is freedom of speech. The common basis of freedom of thought and freedom of speech is political freedom. Political freedom can only be guaranteed by democracies. Only democracies can precisely guarantee the common realization of freedom of thought (history freedom) and freedom of speech (freedom of the press). A valuable historical view must attach great importance to the issue of freedom.
