林业事业是一项生态平衡,造福社会和子孙后代的宏伟事业,是具有产业特点的公益事业。随着开放型经济的迅速发展,林业的发展必须要上一个新台阶,要有重新的思路和视野,需要有一个新的举措。生态环境的长期破坏是造成自然灾害的一个主要原因,林业在生态环境中发挥着主体性作用。发展林业,保护森林,从根本上治理环境,是一项关于我国21世纪经济和社会可持续发展的根本大计。
Forestry is a grand cause of ecological balance and benefit for society and future generations, and is a public welfare undertaking with industrial characteristics. With the rapid development of an open economy, the development of forestry must go to a new level. To have new ideas and perspectives, a new move is needed. The long-term destruction of the ecological environment is one of the main causes of natural disasters. Forestry plays a dominant role in the ecological environment. The development of forestry, the protection of forests and the fundamental management of the environment are fundamental plans for the sustainable economic and social development in our country in the 21st century.
