通过对中美大学生各49篇英语作文中的无灵主语句分布状况与使用特征进行对比分析,本研究发现:(1)无灵主语句虽然在中国大学生英语作文中所占比率高于美国大学生英语作文,但在后者中分布更均衡;(2)美国大学生比中国大学生更能灵活运用由make;come,go;bring,take;give,provide等常用动词组成的固定短语、习惯搭配和常见句型来构造英语无灵主语句;(3)中美大学生各自习惯使用两类特色不同的英语动词来生成无灵主语句,因此中国大学生的部分无灵主语句因其生命性不够明显,隐喻度不够高,而不如美国大学生的无灵主语句生动形象。
By comparing and analyzing the distribution and use characteristics of the non-spiritual subjects in 49 English essay sets of Chinese and American college students, this study found: (1) Although the non-spiritual subject accounts for a greater proportion than the American college students English composition, but in the latter distribution is more balanced; (2) American college students are more flexible than Chinese college students in the use of fixed phrases such as make; come, go; bring, take; give, provide and other commonly used verbs, (3) Chinese and American college students are accustomed to using two types of English verbs with different characteristics to generate incapacitated sentences. Therefore, part of the incapacitated sentences of Chinese college students are not obvious because of their vividness. Metaphor Degree is not high enough, not as vivid image of the United States undergraduates without words.
