Direct use of unmodified simple amino alcohols and amino acids ((S) indole and (S) indole acids) catalyzed the asymmetric reduction of prochiral ketones in the borane system. By optimizing the reaction conditions, the catalytic ability of the chiral catalyst is greatly enhanced. The e. E. Value of the product chiral secondary alcohol can reach 82% -87%, which is greatly improved compared with the results reported in the literature
