之所以用这样一个标题,是为了引起人们对编辑“责任”的高度关注。近年来,人们对“责任编辑”四个字已是司空见惯,习以为常了。但实际上,许多人——甚至责任编辑本人,对“责任编辑”的内涵及责任范围并不清楚:有的人把它看做一种荣誉甚至官衔;有的人则仅把它看做书刊版权记录的一个组成部分,例行公事而已;有的人虽然觉得责任编辑要承担责任,但究竟应负哪些方面的责任并不清楚。其实,“责任编辑”包含两层含义:负责出版物某些工作的编辑人员;编辑所享受的权利和承担的责任(义务)。本文探讨的仍只是责任编辑的责任问题。 The reason why such a title is used is to arouse people’s high attention to the editor’s “responsibility.” In recent years, people are accustomed to the term “responsible editor,” and are used to it. In fact, many people, even the editor-in-charge, do not understand the meaning and scope of “editorial responsibility.” Some people think of it as an honor or even a title. Some people simply regard it as a book. As an integral part of the copyright record, it is a matter of routine; while some people think that the responsible editors have the responsibility, it is unclear exactly which of the responsibilities should be shouldered. In fact, “editorial responsibility” contains two meanings: editorial staff responsible for certain work of the publication; editors enjoy the rights and responsibilities (obligations). This article explores the issue of liability of editors.
