On December 5, 2015, in order to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death of writer and drama singer Tang Xianzu, Tang Xianzu advanced the research progress and discussed the theoretical construction and frontier issues of opera research. The editorial department of “Literary Heritage” convened the “Academic Research on Ancient Chinese Opera Research Meeting cum Tang Xianzu 400th anniversary commemorative group ”.
