The dynamic tensile test of 0·11C-0·62Si-1·65 Mn TRIP steel was carried out at different strain ratesand test temperatures . The results showthat both temperature and strain rate affect the retained austenite trans-formation . At high strain rates ,the uniformelongation decreases , whereas the total elongation and energy absorp-tionincrease . The tensile strengthis less strain rate sensitive . With raising test temperature ,the tensile strengthis reduced and the mechanical properties generally deteriorate ,especially at 110 ℃. However ,excellent mechani-cal properties were obtained at 50 ℃and 75 ℃.
