水从容器底部小孔排尽所需时间的实验,似乎是一个老生常谈的问题了.比如安忠、刘炳升先生主编的《中学物理实验教学研究》一书中就曾研究过这个实验.其中给出了排尽水的时间t与容器中水的高度h之间的函数关系为t=ch(1/2)(c为常数,对于一定的容器而言).然而,我们在实验中发现,对于这一似乎是定论的实验,却并非无懈可击.t与h的关系真的是二次曲线关系吗?我们的研究发现,t=Ch~(0.7).由此,引出了一个实验与理论的关系问题.
