目的 :研究老年2型糖尿病患者(type 2 diabeitc mellitus,T2DM)乙醛脱氢酶2(aldehyde dehydrogenase 2,ALDH2)基因型与颈动脉内-中膜厚度(carotid intima-media thickness,CIMT)的相关性。方法:选取符合标准老年T2DM人群60例,检测ALDH2基因型及常规生化指标,B超测量CIMT,按照CIMT是否≥0.1 cm将研究人群分为CIMT正常组及CIMT增厚组,比较2组生化指标及ALDH2基因型分布差异;以CIMT是否增厚为因变量,ALDH2基因型为自变量,行单因素及多因素Logistic回归分析。结果:老年T2DM人群中ALDH2多态性基因型在CIMT增厚组中比例高于CIMT正常组(64.3%vs.28.3%,P<0.05),Logistic回归分析显示多态性基因型发生CIMT增厚的OR值在调整前后分别为4.569和5.756。结论 :ALDH2多态性基因型与老年糖尿病人群CIMT增厚相关,可能增加并发心脑血管疾病的风险。
AIM: To investigate the association of ALDH2 genotype with carotid intima-media thickness (CIMT) in type 2 diabeitc mellitus (T2DM) Sex. Methods: Sixty elderly patients with T2DM were enrolled in this study. ALDH2 genotypes and routine biochemical parameters were detected. BMI was measured in CIMT. The study population was divided into CIMT normal group and CIMT thickening group according to CIMT ≥0.1 cm. And ALDH2 genotype distribution differences; whether CIMT thickening as a dependent variable, ALDH2 genotype as an independent variable, univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis. Results: The genotypes of ALDH2 polymorphism in elderly patients with T2DM were higher in CIMT thickened group than in normal CIMT group (64.3% vs.28.3%, P <0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that genotype CIMT increased OR values were 4.569 and 5.756 respectively before and after adjustment. Conclusions: ALDH2 polymorphism is associated with thickening of CIMT in elderly diabetic patients and may increase the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
