沈阳东站位于沈阳市大东区东站街1号,该 站原名为奉海站,是以奉天(沈阳)和海龙两地 字头而得名的。1929年改名为沈海站,后更名为 沈阳驿。1945年“九·三”胜利后,由于该站位 于沈阳城东而被命名为沈阳东站至今。 清末民初,在东北地区开始自办铁路时,最 有代表性的自办铁路是奉海铁路。1919年,东北 奉系军阀首领张作霖采纳原奉天省省长王永江自 建奉海铁路的计划,由奉天(沈阳)大北边门外 东端向东经过抚顺、清原县到海龙止,修建一条 全长约250公里的奉海铁路。修建这条铁路的目 的,是与日本“南满”铁路相抗衡,把以海龙为 首的柳河、东丰、西丰、浑南各县农副土特产品 由中国铁路转运。为此,王永江积极筹建奉海铁 路。 Shenyang East Railway Station is located at No. 1 East Station Street, Dadong District, Shenyang City.
