金坛县城东建筑公司现在职工近2000名,业务范围已由原来单一的土建施工拓宽到道路桥梁、铝合金门窗制作安装、建筑装璜等全方位的服务。从1981年开始,以提高素质上水平,强化管理求效益,走出了一条“提高素质为先导,以健全各种管理体系为重点,以强化管理为手段,以质量求效益为目的”的企业管理路子,从而使全公司的整体素质有明显提高,1992年竣工面积达13万m~2;工程质量水平稳步上升。近年来,工程优良率一直保持在60%以上,连续五年被省建工局评为“质量管理先进集体”。最近已晋升为二级施工企业。他们的体会是:
