光盘(optical disc)是一种特制的圆盘,是能在其表面记录信息的光记录材料。 在玻璃或片基表面真空镀一薄层碲而成一圆盘,将信息变为调频信号,再将此信号调制成几个毫瓦的激光束,此激光速照射在高速旋转的圆盘上时,在碲膜表面形成由椭圆形凹痕信息坑构成的螺旋形轨迹。每一凹痕直径为0.5~1μm,间距为1.2μm,凹痕的长度和间距随信号而异,由此构成光盘。用另一低功率激光束照射在旋转的光盘上时,激光速被凹痕反射后即携带光盘中已记录的信息,可用来还原为原始信息。
An optical disc is a specially made disc that is an optical recording material that can record information on its surface. A thin layer of tellurium is applied to the surface of the glass or substrate to form a disc. The information is converted into a frequency-modulated signal, and the signal is modulated into several milliwatts of laser beam. When the laser speed is irradiated on a high-speed rotating disc , A helical trace formed by oval pit information pits is formed on the surface of the tellurium film. Each of the pits has a diameter of 0.5 to 1 m and a pitch of 1.2 m, and the length and pitch of the pits vary depending on the signal, thereby constituting an optical disk. When another low-power laser beam is applied to the rotating disk, the laser speed is reflected by the dimples to carry the recorded information in the optical disk and is used to restore the original information.
