论述了由数字化地震记录测定震级谱、频谱的特征方法:将天文学上对天体星等色指数的办法移植到地震学中,用模拟地震记录测算4种震级标度所定义的震级,进而计算“震级色指数”,并用以判别地震系列的类型:a)红地震;b)蓝地震;c)前震型;d)混合震群型;e)单主余震型;f)孤立型地震的频谱特征及其频谱成分标志。结合中国地区基准台和CDSN台网的记录,对汉堡大学杜达教授(S·J·Duda)按地震系列中谱震级的高频成分和低频成分的比例划分为蓝地震和红地震的方法有所发展,提出了较为明确的判别指标。指出这将有助于识别前震与前震系列。
