黄土高原是中化民族的发祥地,华夏灿烂文化的摇篮。长期以来,这一特殊的地理区域强烈地吸引着中外学者。我校地理系一直把黄土高原作为科学研究和教学实习的重点区域,并建立了黄土高原地理研究室,先后承担了多项研究黄土高原的课题,取得了一系列重要成果。最近,该系又出版了两部研究黄土高原的新著,即由科学出版社出版的《陕西省子长县综合治理与经济发展战略规划》和由陕西省人民出版社出版的《黄土高原环境、资源、开发》。
The Loess Plateau is the cradle of the Sinitic nation and the cradle of the brilliant Chinese culture. For a long time, this special geographical area has strongly attracted Chinese and foreign scholars. The Department of Geography has always regarded the Loess Plateau as a key area for scientific research and teaching practice and has established a geography laboratory for the Loess Plateau. It has successively undertaken many research projects on the Loess Plateau and has made a series of important achievements. Recently, the department has published two new books on the study of the Loess Plateau: the Strategic Planning for Comprehensive Management and Economic Development in Zichang County, Shaanxi Province, published by Science Press, and the “Loess Plateau Environment ,resource development”.
