2006年9月,由河南大学文学院、《文学评论》编辑部、中华文学史料学会近现代文学分会联合召开的史料问题与百年中国文学转捩点学术研讨会在开封举行,这里发表的一组短文,是从会议发言中选出的。如果说两年前在河南大学召开的现代文学文献问题学术研讨会,对重视文献问题的呼吁几乎还是会议关注的中心话语;那么,两年后召开的这次会议,着重点已不再彰显不同论点的交锋,而是着重展示从事近现代文学基础性研究工作的实绩。这些研究者所做的工作,成绩也许并不显眼,但却是认真的,切实的。他们寂寞而孤独地思考着、辨析着,同时也享受着学术发现的乐趣。这组文章还收录了美国学者夏志清先生等人的文字,显示了重视文献问题已日益成为海内外近现代文学研究者的共识。这组文章再次证明,文献不仅是近现代文学研究的基础,而且可以帮助人们走出褊狭的研究视角,进而生发学术、成就学术。
In September 2006, a series of essays published by the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Literature Department of Henan University, Editorial Department of Literary Criticism, and Historical Literature Association of Chinese Literature and Colloquium held in Kaifeng convened a historical symposium held in Kaifeng. It was chosen from the speech of the meeting. If the symposium on modern literature and literature held at Henan University two years ago convened an appeal to attach importance to the issue of literature, it would almost always be the central discourse of the conference; then, the conference held in two years will no longer highlight the difference The confrontation of points of view, but focused on demonstrating the achievements of the basic research work in modern literature. The work done by these researchers, the performance may not be conspicuous, but it is serious and practical. They are lonely and solitary thinking, discrimination, but also enjoy the fun of academic discovery. This essay also contains the texts of American scholar Xia Zhiqing and others who show that paying attention to the issue of literature has increasingly become the consensus of researchers in modern and foreign literature at home and abroad. This group of articles once again proves that the literature is not only the foundation of modern literature research, but also can help people out of a narrow perspective of research, and then hair academic, academic achievements.
