An embedded computer system with 386EX CPI hardware as the core, real-time error correction coding and standard military bus interface MIL-STD-1553B. The software is based on VxWorks real-time multitasking operating system and supports FLASH-based file system. The design and implementation of the computer system, including the composition of the hardware, the underlying software design and application software development and debugging problems are described.
