最近,几位从事政治工作的朋友来我处小聚。寒喧之后,照例是三句话不离本行,话题转到了如何加强思想政治工作的问题上。大家对既要加强思想政治工作又要减少政工干部有些想法,有的认为,政工干部一减再减,谈加强缺乏基础;还有的希望在加强思想政治工作的“大气候”下,增加人员,壮大队伍。对此,我颇不以为然。我认为,政工干部的增多与减少和加强思想政治工作有一定的关系。但不能简单地用1+1=2来分析它们之间的联系。诚然,政工干部的减少,在某种条件下,可能会影响思想政治工作,但未必就一定会削弱思想政治工作。因为加强思想政治工作除了“加人”以外,还有其它因素。
