随着年产80万吨氧化铝项目的竣工投产,文山铝工业体系建设已迈出了坚实的第一步。但由于文山铝工业发展存在起步晚、综合成本较高、产业链尚未形成、资源综合利用率低等问题,文山铝工业发展整体水平不高,尚处于初级阶段。加快推进文山铝工业链条式发展,增强以铝工业为核心的辐射能力,把文山市建成云南省重要的铝工业中心,打造“文铝”标志性品牌,对于加速文山资源优势向产业优势转化,扩大工业总量,提升工业发展质量,加快工业跨越发展,推进新型工业化进程具有现实意义。
