东汉的士人多出于私学,东汉私学的兴盛,为社会培养了大批士人,士人阶层的发展壮大保证了朝廷人才的供应,促进了东汉王朝的发展繁荣。私学不仅促进了士人数量的增加,而且维持了士人集团的稳定,另外私学也促进了士人政治影响的扩大。同时士人队伍的壮大,又推动了私学的进一步完善和扩大。士人不仅为私学发展提供了师资力量、以自己的精神和学识影响着私学,而且也为东汉私学的兴盛提供了经济支持。两者互相影响,形成了东汉时期私学和士人的独特关系。
In the Eastern Han Dynasty, most of the scholars in the Eastern Han Dynasty were out of private studies. The flourishing of private learning in the Eastern Han Dynasty fostered a large number of scholars for the society. The development and growth of the elite classes guaranteed the supply of talent to the court and promoted the development and prosperity of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Private education not only promoted the increase of the number of scholar, but also maintained the stability of the scholar group. In addition, private study also promoted the political influence of the scholar. At the same time, the growth of the ranks of the scholars has given impetus to the further improvement and expansion of private learning. Scholars not only provided teachers with strength for private schools, but also influenced private schools with their own spirit and knowledge, and also provided financial support for the prosperity of private schools in Eastern Han Dynasty. The two influence each other, forming the unique relationship between private studies and scholars in the Eastern Han Dynasty.
