刘西古,男,世界一级美术师,生于1939年3月25日,中国美术家协会会员中国民主促进会会员,著名国画家、著名乐器演奏艺术家、教授、现在北京木偶剧院。1962年毕业于北京工艺美术学院,受益于娄师白、任率英、黄均、赵文、万一、王庆生、崔辑五等大师,擅长工笔人物花鸟及写意花鸟,所作精湛。作品被载入《世界书画家大辞典》、《中国当代名家名作》、《中国当代名人图 Liu Xigu, male, world level artist, was born on March 25, 1939, a member of China Artists Association, a member of China Association for the Advancement of Democracy, a famous painter of the country, a famous instrument playing artist and professor, and now a puppet theater in Beijing.
