Nanoscale RMs play important roles during the developmentof nanotechnology.Nations that have carried out theR&D of nanotechnology are extending a great amount of effort inthis area and have already gained some significant achievements.At present, there has been more R&D in the development of RMsthan that of the toxicity of nanomaterials.In this paper, the currentresearch status of nanoscale RMs around the world is introduced.Finally, the research strategy and suggestion for domesticnanoscale RMs are provided based on the recent research in nanotechnology. Nanoscale RMs play important roles during the development of nanotechnology.
