Translation is an ethical activity. During the “Cultural Revolution”, China’s translation ethics mainly manifested in two aspects: “from ” and “loyalty ”, “from ” refers to the reader and patronage of “compliance, obedience, compliance ”; And “ loyalty ”refers to the original text and the original author “ loyalty ”. The ethics of translation in the period of “Cultural Revolution” “from ” and “loyalty ” reflects the characteristics of the combination of translation and politics. Only by persisting in following the translation ethics which is consistent with the mainstream political ideology can the translation survive and develop during the “Cultural Revolution”. The study of translation ethics during the “Cultural Revolution” can make China’s translation theory system more perfect and systematic.
