有做食品的朋友向我诉苦,每到年节,各商场、超市的分部主管便纷纷索要红包,令其很反感,却又无可奈何。审视现状,这类问题在国内企业中已是相当普遍,这里面有企业文化的、制度的或者是个人素质的问题。然而,究其根源,这是一种典型的职务寻租行为。在这里,我想从寻租行为产生机理对其加以探讨,并从中寻找出应对方法来。寻租(rent-seeking)的概念是由美国著名经济学家克鲁格在讨论国际贸易中保护主义
Some friends who have made food complained to me. Every New Year’s Day, branch managers of shopping malls and supermarkets rushed to ask for red envelopes, making them very disgusted and helpless. Looking at the status quo, this kind of problem is quite common among domestic enterprises. There are problems with corporate culture, system, or personal qualities. However, looking at its roots, this is a typical job-seeking behavior. Here, I want to explore the mechanism of the rent-seeking behavior and find ways to deal with it. The concept of rent-seeking is that the famous American economist Kruger discusses protectionism in international trade.
