The ciwara, a horizontal headdress originating from the Polyrigo region of northern Niger, the Republic of Mali, consists of several animals. Such as the variegated antelope, Aardvark, pangolins, or even any animal that can show a specific posture. The most interesting of these headdresses is the texture of craftsmanship and aesthetics. All levels of Sivara are composed of two parts, usually on the left and right sides of the antelope neck with nails or U-shaped nail (Figure 1) connected together.
