据国家计委透露，“九五”期间，我国将加快能源工业发展的步伐，使之与国民经济发展相适应。“九五”期间，我国能源建设的重点是以电力为中心，以煤炭为基础，大力开发石油和天然气，积极发展新能源和可再生能源。努力调整能源消费结构，保持能源与国民经济和环境协调发展。
According to the State Development Planning Commission, during the Ninth Five-Year Plan period, China will accelerate the pace of development of the energy industry and adapt it to the development of the national economy. During the “Ninth Five-Year Plan” period, China’s energy construction focused on electricity as the center, based on coal, vigorously developed oil and natural gas, and actively developed new and renewable energy sources. Efforts will be made to adjust the energy consumption structure and maintain the coordinated development of energy and the national economy and the environment.
