目前已从卫氏并殖吸虫的成虫、囊蚴及虫卵中分离出至少6种半胱氨酸蛋白酶,可能参与囊蚴脱囊、幼虫移行、营养物质的吸收及免疫逃避等生理过程。虽然应用分子生物学方法研究了卫氏并殖吸虫半胱氨酸蛋白酶基因及酶蛋白的生物学特性,但对酶基因与酶蛋白之间的相互关系、酶蛋白的具体功能仍知之甚少。该酶具有很强的抗原性,能在体内持续释放,有可能用于卫氏并殖吸虫感染的免疫学诊断。
At present, at least 6 kinds of cysteine proteases have been isolated from adult, metacercariae and eggs of Paragonimus westermani, which may be involved in the physiological processes such as cysticercosis, larval migration, nutrient absorption and immune evasion. Although molecular biology has been used to study the biological characteristics of the cysteine protease gene and enzyme protein of Paragonimus westermani, little is known about the relationship between the enzyme gene and the enzyme protein and the specific function of the enzyme protein. The enzyme has a strong antigenicity, sustained release in the body, it may be used for immunological diagnosis of Paragonimusi infection.
