在磁法勘探工作中,往往要大量测定岩矿标本的磁性。以往对岩矿标本的磁化率和剩磁只作一般性的了解,以供磁异常推断解释参考,而很少考虑剩磁在地层、构造等力面所反映的特征和规律。剩磁,特别是它的方向,在某种程度上是地质时代特征的一种可靠标志。因此,有目的地测定剩磁方向,有助于揭示地质构造运动的历史过程等某些地质问题。
In the magnetic exploration work, often a large number of determination of rock samples magnetic. In the past, only the magnetic susceptibility and residual magnetism of rock and mine specimens were generalized, and the magnetic anomalies were deduced for reference. However, the characteristics and regularities of remanence reflected in the strata and structure were seldom considered. Remaining magnetism, and especially its orientation, is, to some extent, a reliable sign of the geologic age. Therefore, purposefully measuring the direction of residual magnetism can help to reveal some geological problems such as the historical process of the tectonic movement.
