Crow Casey was a postman. He was delivering(递送) all the letters and parcels(包裹) to their recipients(收件人). He was busy reading the addresses and didn’t see a tree branch.* So he banged(碰撞) his head on the tree and fell* to the ground*.
Rusty, Bamboo and Paws were taking a walk. “What’s that lying* in the grass?” Rusty pointed to the foot of the tree and asked.*
“It could be a big mole(鼹鼠),” said Bamboo.
They walked to that big black thing. “It’s Crow Casey. What is he doing on the ground? Is he asleep*?” Rusty said.
“But crows don’t sleep lying in the grass. I think something must have happened(发生) to poor Casey,” said Paws.*
Casey opened his eyes and sat up. There was a big bump(肿块) on his head. “Oh, my head. I’m feeling* dizzy(晕眩的)!” He said.
“You banged your head. We’ll take you home and put you to bed,” said Paws.
