Among the works handed down by Fu Shan, the earliest we saw earlier was the “Shang Lan Wulong Ancestral Hall Record” written in 1641. In his book “World of Fu Shan,” Mr. Pak Himse said regretfully: "We can not know the stylistic features of his early calligraphy because of a lifetime of books by Fu Shan before 1640. In supplementing and revising the book Fu Shan, we were surprised to find Bei Xia Bei Xiaofu, a book that Fu Shan never read in 1634. This piece is well preserved in The Ming and Qing Celebrities Pawn by the Shanghai Library. This book contains letters from many celebrities in the Ming and Qing dynasties, including letters from Fu Shan to friends and a few poems, and Begonia Xiaoyu is the most important one of them.
