数年前曾有报道,北京永定河畔坨里地区曾发现恐龙骨骼化石。现已证实,这些化石系经冲刷自河北阳原一带“搬运”而来。1992年夏,笔者应河北地质学院古生物学家庞其清教授之邀,前往河北阳原县,参观考察他们正在发掘的恐龙化石出土地点。我们乘车过官厅水库,沿桑乾河而上,至阳原县的灰泉堡村。化石产出地点位于该村东北约5公里的山巅,该地实际上已处于山西天镇县境内。初发现于1983年,后由于种种原因,时断时续地进行了近15年的采掘和研究。至1997年,经对采得的2300余件骨骼化石进行修复、鉴定、描述及对比研究之后,终于获得了初步的,也是丰硕的成果。经研究证实,阳原——天镇恐龙 A few years ago it was reported that dinosaur skeleton fossils were found in the Tuoli area along the Yongding River in Beijing.
