作物新品种推广之前必须参加一定范围的品种区域试验,以了解各该品种适应性和推广价值。为了提高区域试验的准确性,布点应合理而有代表性。当前,我国的品种区域试验往往根据行政区划或农业区划的经验布点,缺乏必要的数量分析,因此,有些试点的代表性不够,布点也不尽合理。Abou-E1-Fittouh等曾用聚类分析法研究棉花试验地点的相似性。Campbell等计算地点之间多品种产量的相关系数,进行聚类分析,研究美国东部各试点的相似性。Ghaderi等利用41个小麦供试材料2年的子粒容重资料,计算欧氏距离,进行聚类分析,从而提出区域试验设点建议。胡秉民等以浙江嘉兴地区1980年一年
