据山东省文物考古研究所李曰训同志著文介绍,1990年7月,该所在章丘女郎山战国早期大墓墓圹二层台上的1号陪葬坑内,发现一组彩绘乐舞陶俑,由26件人物俑、5种乐器及8只祥鸟组成。人物俑包括歌舞俑、演奏俑、观赏俑等不同种类。姿态有坐有立,身高7.6～8.8厘米,系泥质黑陶捏塑而成,表面保留着鲜艳的彩绘服饰。这组彩绘乐舞陶俑,以保存完整、组合有序、造型生动、风格写实而引人注目,为迄今发现东周陶塑作品之佼佼者,观赏之后,启迪良多。
