石窟造像源于古印度,在其传播过程中,中国艺术家对印度佛教文化及艺术样式不断吸收、融合、改造,并与本土精神相熔铸,以中国特有的艺术表现手法,使其更加符合汉地文化传统,使得佛教造像艺术逐渐符合中国人审美习惯和精神需求。本文试图从中国佛教石窟的造像题材、造型样式、石窟形制、艺术表现形式等方面,揭示石窟造像演变背后外来佛教文化与中原雅士文化及历朝统治阶级政治文化异质融会内涵的本土再造历程。
In the process of its dissemination, Chinese artists constantly absorb, blend and transform Indian Buddhist culture and art style. They are also fused with the native spirit and are more Chinese-style artistic expressions Cultural traditions make Buddhist statues gradually conform to Chinese aesthetic habits and spiritual needs. This article tries to reveal the process of local reincarnation of the exotic Buddhist culture behind the evolution of grotto statues, the altar culture of Central Plains and the heterogeneous integration of political culture of the ruling classes in the past from the statues, shapes and styles, the forms of caves and the artistic expressions of Buddhist caves in China.
