本文报导了掺锗对光纤氢氧根损耗增加影响的实验研究,测量了掺GeO_2的石英玻璃由氢扩散引起的氢氧根吸收的分布剖面。从实验中得到,氢氧根吸收的分布剖面与GeO_2浓度相类似。此外,还测量了掺GeO_2的石英光纤由于氢扩散引起的吸收损耗的增加。从实验还得到,引起的氢分子损耗以及引起的氢氧根损耗随GeO_2浓度的增加而增加。
In this paper, we report the experimental investigation of the influence of germanium on the increase of optical fiber hydroxyl loss. The distribution profile of hydroxyl absorption caused by diffusion of hydrogen in GeO_2-doped quartz glass has been measured. Obtained from the experiment, the profile of hydroxide absorption is similar to that of GeO 2. In addition, the absorption loss of GeO_2-doped silica fiber due to hydrogen diffusion was also measured. It is also found from the experiment that the molecular hydrogen loss caused and the hydroxide loss caused by the increase of GeO 2 concentration increase.
