涂辊是纺织机械关键部件,上面有高密度网络分布的细小孔,其圆周分布共360排,每排400个直径为1.3mm、深度为3mm的小通孔,共有14.4万个,工件工作长度为1m,直径为0.22m。它的应用,意味着加工工艺也要与之匹配。传统的加工方法无论从加工精度、生产率,还是从劳动强度及生产成本上都难以实现,因此传统的加工工艺已无法满足其加工要求。电火花成型加工具有工序比较集中、加工精度较高等优点,除了能很好地解决难加工材料成型工艺问题,还具有机床运动轨迹简单、能一次安装加工出复杂表面。本文分析涂辊的加工特点,应用电火花加工技术,采用群电极方法对涂辊小孔进行加工,圆满地解决了工程实际难题,实现了涂辊国产化。
