My friend Dong Dong was fortunate enough to have a chance to go to Seattle to do academic reporting at a professional conference. Having gone through my cross-cultural communication courses, he asked me to help him review some of the cultural differences he might encounter. I also gave him the phone number of a friend of mine who lives in the area. When he returned, we gathered to review his experience. Dr. Dong told me that the school was used by the school. He experienced the typical stage of cultural shock. He looked forward to a happy and happy trip to the United States and spent the first few days with great joy. At the medical conference, he was very confident in his field of research, and his statement was also quite successful. But after a few days, he began to feel a little uncomfortable. His medical English is good, but social communication skills are another matter. He is not sure about the hints and communication styles.
