In recent years， China’s health and nutrition industry continues to grow and is listed second biggest in size to the U.S， which currently sits at US$ 41 billion in 2017 and the annual sales volume of health food in China is RMB200 billion. Specifically， the functional food and supplements market has maintained a year-on-year composite growth rate of 7.2%. Increased consumer awareness is driving the demand for products made from high-quality ingredients. People aim to live an active， healthy life and look good inside and out. As a result， beauty foods， foods for special medical purpose （FSMP）， energy foods and food for digestive health will play an important role.
As a new member of Informa’s Global Health and Nutrition Network（GHNN）， SupplySide China 2018 will be held at China Import and Export Fair Complex on 28 – 30 June， 2018 in Guangzhou， China.
