徐炽先生,原名徐泰隆,一九三四年生,沈阳人,祖籍辽宁海城。其父徐宝田,三年文化,长于书写。在父亲的影响下,先生自小喜弄笔墨,且有天分,所书条幅,已可示人。年节将至,应邻里相求,慨然书赠春联。时在解放之初,徐家依靠零售水果难以为生,先生已近成年,为谋生计,补贴家用,毅然弃学,于一九五一年考入沈阳市文艺干部班,其后,又考入“鲁迅美术学院” Mr. Xu Chi, formerly known as Xu Tailong, born in 1934, Shenyang, ancestral home in Liaoning Haicheng.
