雷圭元是中国图案教育的先驱,他1921年从北京艺专图案科毕业留校开始到1978年退休,任教时间长达57年,他将中国传统图案置于一个前所未有的地位旨在锻炼学生设计思维,他以提高学生创造能力为目标进行探索式教学,对后来者影响很大。
Lei Kyu-yuan is a pioneer in Chinese pattern education. He graduated from Beijing Art Design College in 1921 and retired in 1978, teaching for 57 years. He placed traditional Chinese motifs on an unprecedented basis to train students Design thinking, he aims to improve students’ ability to explore teaching, the latter have a great impact.
