毛泽东诗词应以作者的革命历程为主要依据 ,从创作题材与主题的变化上去划分阶段。毛泽东没有也不可能在自我感觉“并未入门”的近体诗这一门类中 ,作带有某种限制的“被动式”创作。他的以意唱和正是政治家诗人的一种合乎逻辑的选择。毛泽东请人修改自己的诗词 ,主要是出于对这些作品艺术性的把握 ,而非文体的区别 ;为他人修改作品则主要是考虑求改者的身份。即使在诗词修改这类最能显示诗人风采的精神活动中 ,毛泽东仍不失政治家的本色。
Mao Zedong’s poetry should be based on the author’s revolutionary history as the main basis for the division of stages from the creation theme and theme.
