Tumors often invade adjacent structures and cervical lymph nodes, distant metastases less than 10% at the time of diagnosis, but one third later spread to the subclavian bone and increase their incidence as cervical lymph nodes are infiltrated. Early cases of radiotherapy have been successful, whereas late stages, particularly with cranial base and / or cranial nerve involvement, have shown low rates of treatment. This article reports a group of advanced NPC clinical experience with radiotherapy.
