The survey results show that copper dust concentration in the workplace average 0.1mg / m ~ 3 below, but individual samples can be as high as 5mg / m ~ 3, so workers may have some long-term changes in biochemical indicators. The hygiene standard for copper dust proposed by ACGIH in 1980 (1mg / m ~ 3 calculated as copper) was based on the concept of time-weighted average concentration. Therefore, the average concentration in this survey did not exceed the above criteria. However, China is the highest allowable concentration, therefore, the health standards proposed by ACGIH can be used as China’s health standards. When the concentration of copper smoke in the air of the workshop is less than 0.47mg / m ~ 3, the workers do not find the symptoms of metal smoke and heat. Therefore, the standard of copper smoke proposed by ACGIH 0.2mg / m ~ 3 is acceptable.
