初中地理教学长期以来主要以知识传授为主,枯燥的识记材料较多,地理课堂的有效学习很难实现。随着西部大开发、三峡工程建设等内容都反映在地理教学中,增加的内容越来越多,如今极端恶劣天气增加、环境污染和可持续发展又摆在了人们的面前,地理教学中就要突出重点,培养学生的环保意识,努力构建开放型课堂,实现有效学习。
