This year marks the 60th anniversary of the victory of China’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. It is time to read several pairs of anti-Japanese good relations. It can not only understand the heinous crimes of Japanese imperialism’s invasion of China, but also stimulate our patriotism. After the “July 7th Incident” of Lugou Bridge in 1937, the people of the country resisted the Japanese call. A barber shop posted such a pair of couplets: “If you don’t get rid of it, what face is there; the country’s hatred is not reported and you are responsible for this.” This joint statement is concise and clear-minded, and fully expresses the determination of the Chinese people to resist Japan in the end. An enlightened gentleman, Han Qingfang, wrote: “A few thousand artillery bombarded the sun; millions of males tied the emperor.” The coalition was big and the gunpowder was very strong. It had a great will to “do not extinguish the sun and never let go”.
