在全国海岸带和海涂资源综合调查胜利结束的基础上,由中国海岸带开发与管理研究会发起,国家海洋局举办的国际海岸带学术讨论会于1988年8月16日至19日在首都北京召开。会后到秦皇岛一带进行了为期两天的实地考察。这是我国首次召开国际性的海岸带学术会议,前来参加会议的有14个国家和地区的代表40多人,国内代表90多人。国家海洋局局长严宏谟出席了开幕式并讲了话。 On the basis of the successful conclusion of the comprehensive survey of the coastal zones and the Tu Tau resources in the country, the International Coastal Zone Symposium was sponsored by China Coastal Zone Development and Management Research Association and hosted by the State Oceanic Administration on August 16-19, 1988 in the capital city of Beijing Held.
