随着生态林和经济林面积不断扩大,如何通过相关措施,提高新植林地的收益,实现经济效益与生态效益、长远利益和近期利益的统一,已成为农业部门重要工作内容。从2003年开始,南京市农业技术推广站、六合区农业技术推广站等单位以意扬等经济林为研究重点,充分利用林间空间,探讨林农间作模式,取得了较好的成效。林间种植农作物不但解决了秋冬季意杨落叶期间林间绿色问题,通过林间农作实现了发展绿色生态,一年常绿构想,而且通过林间农作的实施,通过林间耕作、施肥等农艺措施,改善林木的生长环境,提高了林地肥力水平,实现了林地水肥气的协调,促进林木的生长,解决了长期效益与近期效益之间的矛盾,实现了生产效益、生态效益的平衡乃至优化。通过林农间作技术的应用,增加了农民收入,保持了农村的稳定,促进了农民增收,使“绿色工程”建设,成为真正的“绿色银行”。
