日本神户制钢公司材料研究实验室的研究结果表明,钛在硝酸蒸汽中的抗蚀能力比在硝酸溶液中浸渍的抗蚀能力差,因为钛在溶液中腐蚀时所溶解的元素起抑制剂作用。腐蚀速率不受溶解元素影响的一种新型腐蚀试验装置已同时用来确定钛在硝酸的冷凝区、蒸汽区和溶液区的腐蚀速率。这一装置由带有虹吸管和锥瓶的冷凝器、外部容器和内部容器所构成,内容器中冷凝的溶液通过虹吸管自动流入锥瓶中,并间断进行。
The results of the research conducted by Kobe Steel Materials Research Laboratory show that the corrosion resistance of titanium in nitric acid vapor is inferior to that in nitric acid solution because the dissolved element of titanium dissolves in solution acts as an inhibitor . A new type of corrosion test device that does not affect the dissolution rate by dissolved elements has also been used to determine the corrosion rate of titanium in the condensation, vapor and solution zones of nitric acid. The device consists of a condenser with siphon and cone, an outer vessel and an inner vessel. The condensed solution from the inner vessel flows automatically into the cone through the siphon and is interrupted.
