全球范围的经济复苏,给1994年的世界旅游业注入了几分活力。据世界旅游组织统计,去年世界国际旅游总人数为5.28亿人次,比上年增长3％;国际旅游总收入(不含国际交通费用)为3214.66亿美元,比上年增长5.1％。虽然两项指标的增长幅度仅比上年分别高出1个和4.47个百分点,但从整体看,世界旅游业已经脱离10年来发展速度上的谷底,即将步入一个较快增长的新阶段。
The global economic recovery has infused some vitality into the world tourism industry in 1994. According to the statistics of the World Tourism Organization, the total number of international tourism in the world was 528 million last year, an increase of 3% over the previous year. Total international tourism revenue excluding international transportation expenses was 321.466 billion U.S. dollars, up 5.1% over the previous year. Although the growth rate of the two indicators is only 1 and 4.47 percentage points higher than that of the previous year respectively, on the whole, the world tourism industry has shrugged off the trough of growth in 10 years and is about to enter a new phase of rapid growth.
